The UK Updates its Russian Sanctions List
On February 24, 2023, the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation of the Treasure has updated its Russian Sanctions List.
The updated list now includes several key Russian individuals, including, but not limited to:
Members of Supervisory and Management Boards of ROSATOM State Nuclear Energy Corporation (that was excluded from sanctions before, except for one of its former top managers); Matthias Warnig, a confidant of Russian President and his close connections; Several key Russian banks, including bank ST PETERSBURG PJSC, bank URALSIB PJSC, bank MTS PJSC, and bank ZENIT PJSC.
Further clarifications from the UK authorities are coming over the next few weeks.
