Russia issues list of “unfriendly” territories and countries

The Russian Government issued a list of territories and countries that engaged in “unfriendly” actions against the RF, it’s companies and citizens, on March 5th 2022, following Russia’s military invasion of the Ukraine. Following a presidential decree published on this day, the list regards to territories and countries that have imposed economic sanctions on Russia. For the mean time, the decree also permits the Russian government, Russian companies and Russian citizens to repay foreign currency debts owed to foreign creditors from such countries in RUB. The published list includes the UK, US, EU member states, Australia, Albania, Andorra, Iceland, Gibraltar, Canada, Lichtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland and Japan.
