US Treasury has submitted to US Congress a report on top political figures and Russian businessmen affiliated to Vladimir Putin within prospects to adopting sanctions against them. The unclassified part, called “Putin list”, contains 114 senior politicians and 96 “oligarchs”. The main part which evaluates the closeness of the listed persons to Vladimir Putin, their capital information, the prospects of new sanctions against them, is unclassified.
US Treasury has cleared that the “Putin list” doesn’t restricted and impose new sanctions, nevertheless, financial organizations such banks and funds, may concern client’s affiliation to an individual from the list. It can cease relationships between the financial organization and its client.
