The US Commerce Department adds 120 additional Belarusian and Russian entities to it’s “Entity List”

The US Commerce Department, through its Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), proclaimed the addition of 120 new Belarusian and Russian entities to its BIS Entity list on April 1st 2022. This addition subjects the new entities to a license requirement regarding all items subject to the EAR. This action aims to degrade Belarusian and Russian maritime, defense, aerospace and other strategic sectors following Russias severe military invasion of Ukraine.
