On March 17th 2022, the UK government announced it would be freezing tax cooperation with Belarus and Russia. This measure includes the suspension of exchange of tax information with Belarus and Russia. This move follows the RF’s continuing military operation in Ukraine and aims to ensure that the UK isn’t providing Belarus and Russia with information that may lead those to an increased yield or tax benefit for them.
